COURSE GUIDE

Condado de Alhama is an outstanding golf course, personally designed by Jack Nicklaus. As any Nicklaus Signature course Condado is a real test of golf and has been designed with top level professional tournaments in mind.

The course is long and extremely tough. It features numerous lakes, undulating fairways, treacherous rough (wild grasses) and over 116 bunkers. What’s more, the greens are generally quite small and defended by bunkers and severe drop off areas. They’re also usually pretty pacey which makes them very tricky. Make no mistake Condado is a serious championship course. If you manage par or better, you definitely deserve a pat on the back!

The golf course integrates beautifully with local landscape and retains lots of natural flora of the nearby Sierra de Espuña (mountain range), with pine trees, hemp, rosemary, thyme and other species indigenous to the area. The course is still maturing and is getting better every year.

We wouldn’t recommend Condado for beginners or high handicappers. However, if you are a serious golfer who loves a challenge we strongly recommend you give it a go!
